Hey, everyone! Do know when we celebrate Chinese New Year? Why do you even need to know?
I know you struggle with stress like we all do, but this kind of holidays can be a great time to relax, to let go and get new energy.
Holidays sometimes can be very stressful time, but they can also be a special time for your loved ones. Sometimes you need holidays to get out of routine and everyday stress, and if you can take it easy, holidays will become the best time of the year for you and your family.
I don’t have any Chinese roots that I know of, but I still celebrate this day in my own way. Chinese New Year can become one of the days to enjoy the moment, celebrate life and just be yourself.
When Do We Celebrate Chinese New Year?
Chinese New Year is also known as Spring Festival. Chinese New Year is never on a fixed date, and this year it starts on 16th February. The Spring Festival Eve is on 15th February, and the celebrations last for about 23 days.
How Chinese Celebrate New Year?
Many people clean their houses and decorate their homes with red lanterns. Basically, it is time to reunite with your relatives.
Maybe this what you can do on this day to call or visit your mom or other family members. You don’t need to celebrate this holiday as Chinese do, but you could celebrate this holiday your own way and forget about your worries and stress if it’s possible.
What Can You Do?
It doesn’t matter as long as you relax and enjoy what you are doing.
- Take a moment to connect with yourself. Meditate.
- Listen to relaxing music
- Dream.
- Write a journal about your feelings, plans, and dreams.
- Call your mom, talk to your loved ones.
- Engage in creative activities
- Read a book
- Do something you never do
- Find a new hobby
- Watch something funny and laugh
- Light a candle
- Drink tea
- Take a warm bath
- Spend time together with your loved ones
- Sing and Dance
These activities can bring your back to yourself and relieve your stress. Why don’t start doing something good for your well-being at the beginning of Chinese New Year? This time is good as any, but in my opinion, it’s better, because there are so many good vibes in the air that are full of joy, fun, love, and happiness.
Conclusion
Holidays are only reminder to treat every day, every moment of your life as precious. They remind us to enjoy and celebrate every single day.
If your life becomes one big celebration, there will not be time for stress in your day. You would be happy and healthy living a life of your dreams.
