Stress is the silent killer that can slowly destroy our lives and our health piece by piece each and every day that we are in its kingdom. Sometimes stress and anxiety seem something that we can’t get out of it, can’t let go easily and we feel stuck in a seemingly never-ending stressful and anxious nightmare. Believe me, I was there and sometimes I find myself in the same place again.

Stressed WomanI have suffered from anxiety all my life and together with stress, it is something that I don’t wish anyone to experience. There are many ways to reduce both stress and anxiety, but not always work for everyone. So each of us has our own perfect ways to manage stress and finally feel relaxed again.

What Are Some Physical Symptoms of Stress?

According to the American Institute of Stress, these are physical symptoms of stress that many of us experience, for example, gritting teeth or frequent headaches. Stress can also cause trembling lips and hands, neck ache, muscle spasms, and back pain.

It seems that stress causes a lot of physical problems for us. Usually, I think that stress mostly causes psychological and mental problems, but it seems that I am wrong. Maybe for me, stress was always more psychological and mental than physical. But when I think back to times when I felt very stressed, then I can remember some of these physical symptoms of stress.

Itching and StressFaintness and dizziness was something that I have experienced in the past and hopefully, I can avoid it in the future. But truly in a nowadays stressful life, I can’t fully avoid any kind of stress. However, I can do everything in my power to deal with stress and never accept chronic stress as a norm for me or for somebody else.

Now when I am reading about physical symptoms of stress, I can say for sure that I experienced almost all of them. When I was very young each day before school I experienced stomach pain and it was terrible. The school was a terrifying and unwelcoming place for me to be, but over the years it changes a bit. At that time I also had itching and rashes, now I understand that it was this way because of my anxiety and stress. I am so glad I am more or less over it.
