People usually tell terrible tales what stress can do to the human body, and I believe we all know that if something affects your mind, body feels it too.
Do You Know That You Are Stressed?
Sometimes people don’t know that they are stressed until it’s too late and they start to suffer consequences of stress. I don’t know, how is possible to not understand that you are stressed because anxiety, worry, and racing thoughts are a pretty clear sign that I need to stop and that stress is here.
Our bodies are meant to handle small doses of stress, but we all know what happens nowadays. Stress is everywhere, and everybody is affected by it. Many of you experience chronic stress, and it can cause bad consequences.
So What Does Stress Do To The Body?
People cope with stress differently, and that is why everybody doesn’t experience all symptoms of stress.
Today I will talk about physical symptoms of stress.
I don’t know about you, but I think sometimes many people don’t acknowledge what stress does to their physical body.
More money or other things are useless if you don’t have a good health. Only when you are fit and healthy, you can fully engage in building your business and relationships. I hope you appreciate what you have and health is the most precious things in your life. Without it, nothing else matters.

If you are stressed, you can also feel fatigue and weak. I felt like that for some time in my life when I had a lot of stress and anxiety.
Of course, if you feel without energy, you can’t get anything done and only make yourself sick. That is why you need to think about relaxation methods and take this life less seriously.
Do you have a low energy? It’s one of the signs that you are stressed, and you should do something about it.
Problems With Gut
Chronic stress can impact your metabolism. In fact, stress plays a major role in the health of the gut that is one of the most important organ systems. A study shows that especially chronic stress badly impacts your gut, demonstrating changes in gastric secretion, mucosal permeability and barrier function, gut motility, visceral sensitivity and mucosal blood flow. Research shows that the gut microbiota also is impacted by stress.
Headaches
I think that almost everyone has experienced stress-related headaches.
A study found that people who experienced headaches had more stress compared to people who never had them.
Tense muscles and Pains
Stress can cause muscle tension. When people experience stress, they complain about sore shoulder and neck pain.
Sleep Problems
Stress can cause insomnia and other sleep problems like decreased sleep efficiency, slow wave sleep, and REM sleep as studies shows.
Chest Pains
Do you have unexplained chest pains from time to time? It looks like stress can be the cause of them as thesis suggests. The healthcare services are unable to find out why patients experience chest pains and they cannot be linked to heart disease or other illness.
Sometimes when I felt stressed, I experience chest pains, and it’s an awful feeling.
What to Do to Help Yourself?
You need to worry less and be less stressful. It’s not always possible to be free of stress, and that is why you need to deal with stress the healthy way.
There are a lot of stress relief tips that can be helpful for you.
Meditation and other mind-body practices can be good for you. Appreciate your day and be in the present moment. You will see how different your life would become.
Eat healthy, get moving, engage in creative activities. Read a book, smile and laugh more.
If you understand your stress and do everything to reduce it, I promise your life will become much, much better.
